The real arcade game is just playing the game based on the chip instructions. Your PC is managing video, sound, cycles. The reason why some Arcade games are slow no matter what the PC power is, is because of design. What MAME and/or any other emulator (Raine, MESS, ZNES, etc.) does is make your PC think it's the machine it's emulating. Ive had a little google search and cant fine any other emulator that will play the great maygay simpsons game, it loads and plays slowely but the ounds are from a different fruit machine, any tips Not sure why you're posting MAME questions here, but I can help you understand why it doesn't work well.
